I am in the process of setting up a web site.  Some things are still listed in my Etsy Store YarnCakes – a variety of sock yarns, hand spun yarns, stitch markers and whimseys. I will keep this page for the moment and include the new site as soon as possible.

What a great concept! Use your own knitting yarn or hand spun yarn on a loom and within an hour you can weave a scarf (using both 30 and 50 cm looms) or a shawl/table runner on the 50cm loom in about 2 hours.

So what is the difference between this Knitters Loom and the Ashford Rigid Heddle Looms? The fact that it folds up into a nice portable space – you can even a tote bag to fit it into.

The Ashford Knitters Looms also have an easier locking system than the rigid heddle looms but I think it’s redeeming feature is the portability.
